Comments:

The door handle is very easy to fix if the pedestals break off due to the massive freezer-fridge suction issue. You need a 14 socket set end thingy (i borrowed mine from a neighbour) a phillips head screwdriver and in my case 2x white plastic pedestal mounts (part wa2 1) and 2x small plastic bits that make the handle slide back on (part b5-113). Slide the handle up to remove - take a photo or note how it goes back together as you unscrew everything - replace broken items with new (screw in new bits using socket thingy or screwdriver) - slide handle back on. It is so easy

Tools Required:

14 socket (i borrowed from a neighbour), right sized phillips head screwdriver

Comments:

You remove the fridge handle by sliding upwards. The handle slots into the three pedestals in a sliding down motion once you line them up. Its not a great design and as proven by the regularity with which the pedestals break a fault. But luckily the part is easy to replace through this site. But its also a discontinued model so how long the parts will be available is another matter. Using the screwdriver handle socket driver just unscrew the hex-head bolt, take off the broken pedestal, then re-bolt the new one through the single hole in it. You cant miss.

Tools Required:

Hex socket set with screwdriver handle as the bolt that secures the fastener about an inch2cm deep when the pedestal is attached.
