What is Dashlane used for? ›

With Dashlane, you can instantly create and store strong, unique passwords for all your logins and help protect your digital identity. You can autofill passwords, personal data, and payment details to save time. Dashlane is a shortcut that helps you do everything you do online faster and safer on any of your devices.

In terms of security, Dashlane uses 256-bit AES encryption, a gold standard in the industry, so it can keep all your data safe and secure as possible.

Starting May 13th, 2024, the Dashlane Authenticator app will be discontinued.

Deleting your Dashlane account erases all data associated with the account, including all logins, personal details, and payment info.

Hackers are unlikely to access our servers. Also, no one who accesses our servers can see your logins and personal information because that data is always “encrypted." Encryption scrambles your data so that no one can read it.

You can see the devices you've added to your account in any Dashlane app. You can also see when each device was added to your account and last used. Go to your Settings and select Manage Activity.

Dashlane Free users can try out additional features with a 30-day Dashlane Premium trial. The Premium plan includes unlimited logins storage, Dark Web Monitoring, and access to your logins on multiple devices at once.
